it has been a week since i have updated my last entry.kuing2:) and jeng3,,foe the entry this week,i have something special to share with all my readers and for those who are interested in working in the electric and electronic company especially.welll have you ever heard the name called 'CANON'? what is canon actually??and what kind of thing that canon produce to make our life full of happiness??maybe,,, :) on last tuesday,our lecturer invited a guest speaker from the factory Canon Opto Malaysia Sdn Bhd to give a little introduction about the industry related to the field of electronic courses as we are learning now.my friend and i was so excited for being in the class on that day to hear the talk from representative from canon opto. at 9.30,the talk started to begin.did you know who was the person that given us a great talk about the canon opto company???here it is,,,,, en.Mohd Azlan which is as senior general manager Canon Opto Malaysia.he is very cheerful and most of the time we spent with him full of laugh as he is very clever in making a jokes.en azlan actually was a junior of dr kamal when they are togather study in japan past a few years ago. First of all,before en.azlan go further,he was introduced the history of his company to all of us,here is the some bfiefing about Canon Opto Malaysia.and for sure all of you can visit their websites as in below: Canon Opto (Malaysia) Sdn. Canon is committed and will continue to strive to become a household name and a leading brand, sought after for its quality and reliability in products and services, living up to its corporate tagline, Delighting You Always, for now and well into the future. is it clear with my introduction to canon company?hope everyone already know about the history of a company. secondly,lets us proceed on what en Azlan have briefing to us.first of all,en azlan had introduced to us the japanese word called "kyosei" which give a meaning living working togather for the common good,this is the word and the syle that the company of canon hold since the factory was opened. There are a few products made by canon opto factory which includes spherical lens,penta prism and many more.as we know,the main function of lens is to focus the image.simple right.as i remembered,during my matriculaton,i found very hard to understand what my lecturer teach me about the concept of lens.i always confius the properties of lens and the shape of it.but i know once i get to work,there is no difficulties as we as as student learn right now. there are also many types of camera that use variety of lens such as: 1)powershot sx500 2)EF 40mm f/2 STM which combined two lenses as we know it is too dificult to makr it as one 3)EF 50mm f/1.8 11 and we know that lens is actually made from silica and we can also calculate the reflection as i was learned durig spm and matriculation phase.it was really fun if we can calculate it and very happy if the we got the right answer right?bravo0o!
ELECTRONIC SYSTEM RELATED TO INDUSTRY AUTOMATION we're glad to see on the screen about the above titles.our course which is electronic system is the new course in utm.it was introduced about last years and we are the second bantch that futhet study in this kind of course.interesting right??hahaha,,owh,lets us back to the topic,actuallt the canon factory is one of the factory that have the connection about electronic as they produce a lot of digital things and components now a day.so en Azlan had offer to us to apply the jobs in canon as an engineer perharp:):) in the factory,all the worker must follow this 4 alphabet which is EQCD. E = environment protective.as we know,all the product that will developed must be environtment-friendly,so all the engineer in canon are responsible to make a product that will not harm the environtment,they have to test all the product that they already developed and when there a lot of consequences,they have to establish other product that makes environtment-friendly. Q = quality of product.Canon is a company that is very concerned about quality and productivity.as i have mention,their workers must set up the quality of our own,it just like the way we want the product to be last longer and suitable with the price of the product. C = cost.same on the other company,canon have to compete with other company on the way to set the price for every product that they was developed according to the product specified D = delivery on time.
then the interesting part is when en Azlan told us about the japanese style in working area. we learn a few japanese word like 'horenso' which devided into 3 ways which is houkoku=report,renraku= contact and soudan = consultation.second word is san gen which is also divided into 3 ways which is genba=site,actual spot, genbutsu= actual things, genjitsu= reality
