introduction to bioelectronic (reflection 4)

Assalamualaikum ,,<3
First of all,I would like to say Alhamdulillah because He still gives me a chance to update my entry and for sure I wanted to share it you guys~hurm,,,,biology????why bio???have you ever wondered how you life would be without body cell???hahaha,,,,,just want to make you all think a little bit about what actually biology related to,,,,,as I am a pure physics student, when Dr.azran introduce to me about this topic, The first thing that plays on my mind is why should I associate myself again with biology??? I think two years is enough for me to learn this tiring subject that really need my brain to memorize it even a single word.seincerely from a very sincere heart, I was not really interested in this subject, because as I was a physical student,i totally did not like to read and memorize everything 24 hours a day , i was not really a person like that, i love physics and only ony im in love with his it.i love t play with all the physics’s formula and it just like im making my day with happiness.when dr Azran give Lecture about it, i tried really hard to understand all the things that I  have already  learned before in my secondary school and totally find it become really hard for me to accept this kind of subject as I already throw it away from my life. I need to take positive steps in order to restore all the knowledge I've learned in secondary school  for my learning purposes in the future.who nows that maybe it have ane thousand and one reasons hidden behide it??and im kindly can apply it as one of the application during my career as engineer later.insyallah and hopefully.

look up there~from theory to application! se how physics is being apply in the world of biology:)

and pleased:) before we learn something, try to love whatever things that might be related to our life,,i love biology!

Bioelectronics is a recently coined term for a field of research that works to establish a synergy between electronics and biology. The emerging field of Bioelectronics seeks to exploit biology in conjunction with electronics in a wider context encompassing, for example, biological fuel cells, bionics and biomaterials for information processing, information storage, electronic components and actuators. A key aspect is the interface between biological materials and micro- and nano-electronics.so in this case we need both electronic and biology in order to make a strong relationship between this prospect career.it sound good because we can apply both of our knowledge together right??

BIOELECTRONIC = 1)The application of the principles of electronics to biology and medicine.
2)The study of the role of intermolecular electron transfer in physiological processes

understood???if not never mind :) i just want to make it more clear about what is bioelectronic means.

now let we proceed to what i've been learn during the class with dr. azran.firstly, before he started to give explanation about bioelectronic,w have been refresh with all the electronic subject such resisitor.capcitor,dc and ac power.i was so excited when he is giving a talk about the thing that i really like it so much, and after that,he also asked me and my friend about the topic that we alredy learn which is series and parellel circuit, voltage divider,rc and cr circuit anf also giving us a short quiz about it in order to make my friends and me getting fresh without any sleepy feeling during his class.there are also a few new topic that dr azran introduce to us on that day such as active electrinic realisation which includes  a first order active low-pass filter and a first order passive low- pass filter, estimation method which include trigonometric function being apply inside it and also probe design.for estimation method,dr azran spent a lot of time in order to make all his students understood well about that topics.he also giving a question to us ,so taht he will know the level of understanding his student specifically.i try and try and try very hard to solve the kind of problem related to estimation method,i also asked a lot of my friens but they all also did not know ho to do it including me,how frust i am during that time??im just feel like i wanna crying! wuwuwuwuwu~~~seriously it take long time to make me understand and within this time,im still cannot understand it especially how to calculate fo and fd using the trigonometric function.i feel so complicated but some of my friends like hafizul, shahir, hakim, all of them can understand it properly! indeed I'm just a normal human being who was born without perfection.nobody perfect right.

resistor colour chart,i've been learning this during primary school until now:)

electronic instrument, from a big one to a small one:)

this is symbol of every electronic instrument

this is dc and ac current

signal in and signal out:)

one of the example of circuit that dt azran show to yus,so amazing:)

probe design that i have mention bove

example and formula of droppler effect:0 i was learn a little bit in matriculation a years ago

and now lets we proceed to the most important one which is both applying physics concept and biological concept.after the part of electric, then dr azran proceed to molecular biology part.this part actually is very interesting because we can learn all of the things inside our body especially.we can know from where we are comes from, what kind of genes we are in and many more.interesting right??as i remember when i was in form 4 and form 5 in primary shcool 3 years ago.i find really hard to catch up this subject because i did noy like to memorise all the things well,it is too many facts that i have to remember and very different from studying physics because we can play with a lot of formula and it is interesting,we just entered the valued in the formula and just calculate it.simple right?but for biology subject,i need to memorize every single word that include in the text book or i will lose a lot marks there.so tragic right?:)

ohh stop remembered about  the past zaina! lets we proceed to molecular biology as well.dr azran had given us a lectures about cell staining, what is cell staining actually??

Cell staining is a technique that can be used to better visualize cells and cell components under a microscope. By using different stains, one can preferentially stain certain cell components, such as a nucleus or a cell wall, or the entire cell. Most stains can be used on fixed, or non-living cells, while only some can be used on living cells; some stains can be used on either living or non-living cells.

then,we learn about human dna:) The body of a human being is comprised of 60 trillion cells and every day the body is subject to constant regeneration.
Much of human DNA is still a mystery to science. 97% of your DNA is called "Junk DNA“.
In genetics, noncoding DNA describes components of an organism's DNA sequences that do not encode for protein sequences; these sequences may or may not be transcribed into RNA.

DNA flourescent stain

this is one of our dna:)

do you ever heard about nucleus guys?here it is,,nucleus in inside our body,it control all the cell activities as i remembered until this day:) there is a lot of part in nucleaus which also include DNA and RNA

structure of eukaryotic cell

this is dna too:)
do ever know that The human genome contains 3164.7 million chemical nucleotide bases (A, C, T, and G).
The human genome is estimated to contain 20,000-25,000 genes. Out of 24,750 human genes 250 genes have no terrestrial basis. The functions are unknown for over 50% of discovered genes.
wow! it is so amazing right???

next, shall we proceed to what actually dr azran had doing researh for his phd in japan:) im so in love to go to japan one day, insyallah:) pray with me so that i can go to japan to see their most amazing technology there hopefully.

the function of this researh conducted is to investigate the usefulness of sonication decellularization and determine its efficiency by related to ultrasonic power output and DO concentration in detergent solution with/without saline.how excellent dr azran right???

l)Cell source/ differentiation
l)Scaffolds/ECM
l)Innervation and vascularization
l)immune acceptance
l)preclinical animal models
l)Clinical end points for safety/efficacy
l)Regulatory/reimbursement
l)Educated physicians/payers

this is sonication decellular system made by dr azran:)

so behind from the projector,so 80% i didnt see anything

i have try so hard to solve the question

dr azran had given us a great lecture

i think that all for my entry this time, actually for entry ths time,i do not have enough time to spent it longer because i was busy struggle for eng. math test, all og assignment and many more,i hope that my explanation this time will make all of you all satiesfied, any improvent that suitable for me in order to make my blog being as a reader-friendly,you can just give your comment on the bottom:) see you all next time insyaallah:) daa~~ asalamualaikum<3
